Rent and Utilities Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Rentals & Utilities Department. We are looking for a proactive, organised, detailed orientated individual that enjoys working in a team environment.

You will be responsible for, amongst other duties:

  • managing a portfolio of TFG Stores w.r.t Utility & Rent Payments

  • follow up & processing of utility invoices on SAP FI

  • capturing of selected fixed costs on SAP Real Estate

  • ensuring that all invoices have been paid by due date according to lease specifications

  • investigation of utilities under / over charged

  • review and verification of municipal rates

  • the reconciliation of vendor accounts on a monthly basis

  • the sorting out of queries related to rent & utility accounts

  • liaising with landlords, managing agents and municipalities as required

  • liaising with operations/field admin and lease admin departments as required

  • escalation of unresolved queries to relevant stakeholders

  • general administration duties

We are looking for someone who:

  • is detail - orientated

  • is organised, thorough and systematic

  • is computer literate (Ms Excel essential, Ms Word,Outlook)

  • is able to work under pressure

  • is able to communicate at all levels

  • has basic accounting knowledge

  • passed mathematics and / or accountancy at matric level

  • has experience on SAP (Real Estate / FI)

Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
